– Elizabeth Gilbert

From TED.com

“I don’t think you can come into your wisdom until you have made mistakes on your own skin and felt them in reality of your own life.”

Elizabeth Gilbert, the well-known American author, essayist, short story writer, biographer, and novelist describes why in this TED talk . She gained a huge audience of women for her novel “Eat Pray Love” that  was made into a movie in 2010. In her TED talk, she compares her success and failure, and how each affected her life. After “Eat Pray Love” that was her big break, she faced a big problem. How to follow up the mega-hit “Eat Pray Love” and surpass it. But the thing that motivated her was her love of writing and her love of her vocation. That was the crux of her talk. We must know our passion and love it so much that we can have achieve what we want. We must know how to lift ourselves in the down times and find a way to call up the inspiration regardless of the outcomes.
